Dr. Grant profiled in Town&Country Magazine
Robert T. Grant, MD, FACS, Chief, Division of Plastic Surgery, is highlighted in the March 2011 issue of Town & Country Magazine.
"Dr. G and the Women" profiles the Life Stage Personal Enhancement Team he has built with nutritionist Brooke Alpert and stylist Jacqui Stafford.
Together, the trio work with patients to improve their appearances according to their unique needs and preferences.
Some patients choose to have plastic surgery followed by recovery at the Pierre Hotel in Manhattan, where they can meet with Alpert and Stafford as they recuperate.
Other patients may opt to consult with Alpert or Stafford, without having any procedures.
As Dr. Grant says, "I am an interventionalist — I intervene at a specific point — but what Brooke and Jacqui do can help before, during, and after that point," he says.
"It just became clear that I needed more than surgery to help make my patients complete."

When people wait until later in life to care for their appearance, they may end up playing 'catch-up,' with extensive changes leading to an unnatural appearance.
Dr. Robert T. Grant, Plastic Surgeon-in-Chief, NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, recommends a more incremental approach.
Dr. Grant Honored for Breast Cancer Service
Dr. Robert T. Grant was named the 2009 'Man of the Year' honoree of the Beth C. Tortolani Foundation in recognition of his work for and on behalf of women with breast Cancer.
Dr. Rohde was interviewed in a September 1, 2008 The Boston Globe article about female residents and doctors having babies.
Dr. Rohde is conducting research on the subject of pregnancy during residency, and has surveyed 4,000 female surgeons of all ages.
According responses she has received, some bosses have told pregnant residents to drop out, while others have suggested terminating pregnancies.
"One thing that's coming up repeatedly in the survey responses are the interesting and horrifying stories about what they've had to deal with," said Dr. Rohde.
